Wendy and Jared

Another year over and another year beginning, and lots of things waiting to happen in this new year. We had a wonderful Christmas and spent time in California with the folks. We couldn’t ask for more for the holidays. But now we’re back in the saddle again…Wendy continues to work one day a week as a hygienist and enjoys the dentists she works for while taking care of the household and entertaining the children with whatever crazy story she can come up with. Jared is nearing the end of his Masters program at ASU and will graduate in May – a month that can’t come too soon for him! Meanwhile, he still works for Intel and his latest project is taking him to Isreal every few months. He is still trying to convince Wendy to come with him sometime, but she can’t quite get enough courage up to leave the 2 kids. Cole is entertaining day in and day out and doesn’t stop until his eyes are closed – and sometimes that doesn’t even stop him! His latest phrases include, “Oh, my gosh, mommy!” and “Wait just a minute, I’ll be right back.” He sounding more and more like a grown up everyday. Kate is just amazing us day in and day out with how much she wants to keep up with her brother. She is now 8 ½ months old and loves to stand up holding anything possible and her favorite place to play is under the kitchen table. She and Cole sat under there laughing for about 30 minutes without any toys – just the two of them laughing back and forth at each other. Crazy kids! We are looking forward to all the fun in the next year and we’re glad we got to spend many fun times with our families in the past one.
