Happy New Year!
Hey everyone! It has been an exciting couple of months around here. Since we bought the motorhome we have been on the go go go! Of course Disneyland was one of our places to visit including Grandma Gray's and Grandma Dunyon's homes. The highlights of the season were when we had a visit from Santa in our home. Jarem couldn't express enough how much he loved Santa. We all sat on his lap and got a fun gift. Then we had to sing him away in his electric sled. Oh what fun it is to ride... Christmas Eve was spent at the new outdoor mall and then at Wendy's for a fabulous Surf and Turf meal. After a few melt downs by children and even a mommy :), it was off to bed but not before a letter to Santa was written and a plate full of cookies was left. YUMMY! Then Christmas morning with Aaron, Brooke, Emma, Heidi and AJ was so much fun. Paper, ribbons and toys everywhere! When everything finally calmed down Sarah and Austin came over from Wendy's and the fun began again. We had Christmas dinner at our house where I attempted a pork roast (in leiu of Mom's absence) and a turkey breast. The best part was the dressing. I would have made Grandmother Dunyon proud. Things quieted down after that, at least for a few days until it was off to Grandma's for New Years Eve and Aaron's, and Megan and Haley's birthday. I'm not sure which was more fun. Awesome Austin made a fun treasure hunt for Meg and Hayes so that we could all search for the special prize (a princess pinata) and the presents. We were all pretty as princesses but we were no competition for the two cakes Mom decorated. All in all it was a wonderful holiday season for us. We made our usual trips to Disneyland, Nathan got to do a boy thing and watch the Jedi training show - the bad guys- instead of all princess stuff this time. We missed having mom and dad here for Christmas but their excuse was a good one and we are happy that little "Scotty" has joined our family safe. We can't wait to meet him when we are all healthy again. Our best to all. We love you and hope you all had a great holiday season too. Thanks for reading! Love Jeff, Kim, Paige, Megan, Haley, and Nathan!
