Happy Thanksgiving

Well we had a VERY fun Thanksgiving, Wendy, Cole, Kate, Aaron, Brooke, Emma, Heidi, Austin and Sarah all came to Mom and Dad's house for a fun filled weekend. We started the day out just relaxing with pancakes and fruit for breakfast, and Dad showing off his cool new truck to EVERYONE that walked by. (Heehee) Then we all got cleaned up and went to the beach. The day was warm and beautiful. The kids just played in the sand and soaked up the sun. Heidi was a little afraid of the water, but LOVED the sand. Cole and Emma had fun feeding the birds, then Sarah got a little scared and made them chase them away. For those of you who don't remember a few Thanksgivings ago, Sarah was eating a sandwich on the beach, minding her own business and I guess the birds were VERY hungry that year, needless to say a blood thirsty seagull swooped down and took it right out of her hand. To this day Jeff still laughs like a little girl every time he gets a mental picture. After we finished having lunch and playing at the beach, we packed up and headed home. Aaron got out his new quad and took all the kids on a ride...even Austin. Then we had Mom's amazing Thanksgiving feast. Everything was so tasty, I don' t think anyone said much of anything, just gobbled away. The night was spent watching movies and playing games. This was by far one of the better Thanksgivings I have had all year long. Thanks to all who made it so fun. I am glad that we were able to spend the holiday with Wendy and her kids, and Aaron and Brooke and their kids and Mom and Dad. I just wish that more of you could have come to celebrate.
